Two disciplines, one hand.
Fine correspondence and paper goods. Sculptural, artful knitwork. Different materials, the same standard of hand and eye — all under one maker's name.
Correspondence worth keeping.
Invitations and announcements, personalized stationery, note cards, and the finer paper details — placemats, coasters, gift and luggage tags — drawn from designer collections and finished exactly to specification. Custom collections are also available by private consultation.
Knitwork, taken as far as it goes.
Wraps, scarves and cowls, hats, and small sculptural pieces — worked in feathers, hand-dyed yarns, and fabrics most knitters won't touch. Selected for juried art shows throughout the Cincinnati area, and made to be one of a kind.
"Carol Rentschler works in paper the way she works in yarn — precisely, and without shortcuts."
Both houses carry her name because both carry her standard: nothing leaves the studio that she wouldn't sign.
